We Have Always
Tabulated Surveys Ourselves,
Why Do We Need You?

  • Credibility
Typically, a survey designed to obtain information for internal use can be tabulated in-house. However, if the survey's primary purpose is to attract advertising or PR, then an outside supplier is crucial to the credibility of the results. (Due to the likelihood of data tampering, advertisers & agencies often question data provided from internal sources.)

  • Invaluable Crosstabs
Crosstabulations hold the real value of a survey. Looking at each question crosstabbed with others can unearth patterns that can make your title more attractive to advertisers.

  • Efficiency
We've been in the research business for the past thirteen years. We can tabulate data quickly and efficiently & professionally, thereby freeing up your staff's valuable time.
  • How Can
    You
    Offer Such Low Rates?

    What's
    The
    Catch?

First of all...there's no catch. We have worked in marketing research for fourteen years and know what features clients want and need in survey design & tabulation.
    • We offer a very flexible per response fee structure. Clients are able to dictate how many surveys they would like to have tabulated in order to conform to their research budgets.
    • All phases of survey tabulation and analysis are performed in-house (handling, coding, keypunch, editing, tabulation, report analysis, & report typesetting etc.) What does that mean for you? Well for starters, you will have more control as to the direction of the research, not to mention timely access to the numbers you need, when you want them. More importantly, there are no third party supplier markups, (as is customary with large research houses), therefore the savings are passed on to you.

    What Are
    Crosstabs?

    • Crosstabulations hold the real value of a survey. Looking at each question crosstabbed with others can unearth patterns that can make your title more attractive to advertisers. For example, your data shows that only 20% of your overall audience have computers. That statistic would probably be of little interest to a software retailer, but if you can show that a significantly larger percent of your male audience aged 25-54 (which just happens to be this retailer's primary market) owns a computer, then you're in business. This is the type of leverage that your larger counterparts enjoy with syndicated research...Bedford Research will deliver this valuable feature to you at no extra cost.

    What Are
    Banner Points?

    • A Banner is a set of column headings across the page. Each heading, or point is a sub set of your sample, (ex. Male, Female, age 25-54, users, nonusers, etc.). The column headings (banners) are then crosstabbed with the survey questions listed on the row column (stub). Therefore if one of the banner headings is "Male" then the reader can see what percent of its male readers answered each question in the study.
